Mt. Tabor Reservoir Independent Review Panel Selects Consultants

Panel Forwards Its Selections to City Council

Portland, OR-The Independent Review Panel (IRP) charged with evaluating options to enable the City to address security and regulatory requirements at the Mt. Tabor Reservoirs has made its selections for an Independent Technical Advisor and a Facilitator. The selection panels, comprised of IRP members only, chose McGuire Environmental Consultants (www.mcguireinc.com) of Santa Monica, California as its Technical Advisory and EnviroIssues (www.enviroissues.com) of Seattle and Portland as its Facilitator.

City Council will consider a contract for the Independent Technical Advisor next Wednesday, January 28th at 9:30AM. IRP Chair Ogden Beeman will be at Council next Wednesday to present the consultant recommendations on behalf of the selection committees.

The IRP anticipates having a facilitation contract approved through the City's Purchasing Agent by that same time.
